About
OWFV is comprised of players and supporters. We have an “open” scrimmage most Sundays at Talbert Middle School ($3 a person) and we play games from time to time against local teams and the occasional visiting team from accross the pond. We get together after practice and/or games at the Old World Restaurant and Biergarten where we have our clubhouse and celebrate another week of being on the pitch.
For those of us who don’t actively play soccer there is still a lot to do! Shuffleboard, cookouts, travel and (of course) cheering on the team while enjoying good play is on the agenda every week of the year.
Come by, say hello, share a pint.
Practice times occasionally change due to time of year and important (to watch) football matches. Summer hours are 9am – 11am and when it cools off we go to our Winter schedule of 10am – 12am. Check the Events Calendar  to verify the time for any upcoming weekend. Young and old, male and female, all are welcome.

Still got a question? Drops us a comment or use the Contact page. See you on the pitch!

What time Sunday are the open practices?
What are the ages?
Scott,
This is not a normal weekend, with the World Cup Finals. This Sunday, July 11, scrimmage is at 8:30 AM.
After that we should go back to the summer 10:00 AM time.
We have a couple guys in their 70s. I believe the youngest is still a teenager.
Regards,
Matthew
